Over the next ten years, up to 10 million more girls worldwide will be at risk of becoming child brides
Reproductive Health Issues
In 2019, maternal health conditions such as haemorrhage, sepsis or obstructed labour were the second leading cause of death among girls aged 15-19.
Gender-based violence
Globally, around 1 in 5 adolescent girls have experienced recent intimate partner violence
Unpaid work
Globally, girls ages 5-14 spend 160 million more hours every day on unpaid care and domestic work than boys of the same age

Rally is a giving circle for people who are passionate about lifting girls & women in need.
A giving circle multiplies the impact of one by many so you can give more and give more effectively.
We pool donations from young donors to form grant pools as large as $50,000 USD and vote collectively to decide which charities will receive the grant.
It’s philanthropy, democratised.

Why give through a giving circle?
Give more
We help everyday donors make collective contributions that fund big grants. But not only do you get to give more money, you get to give more than money through the skills-based volunteering opportunities with our grantees (as needed).
Get in the inner (giving) circle
When you pledge as a member, you earn a spot in the Grants Committee with like-minded people where you can have a voice and a vote to shape the collective philanthropy agenda.
Give smarter
We manage the project selection and due diligence process transparently to ensure mission alignment and impactful giving. You get to be a part of the process, every step of the way.
How it Works
1. Source & Vet
Source charities via charity evaluators that vet the validity of charity interventions and issue a grant application RFP
2. Discuss & Vote
Assess grant application, conduct virtual site visit and vote for which grantees you'd like the Rally grant pool to fund (see here for the number of votes you get for each member tier)
3. Disburse
Disburse the grant money to the selected grantees in accordance with the votes casted
4. Track Impact
Receive annual reporting on how the funding has been utilised and any challenges they've faced
5. Learn & Volunteer
Provide additional support to our grantees through volunteering your unique skills (on an as needed basis) and learn about giving and our cause area
6. Repeat
Repeat every year. With more impact-minded members, supporting more impactful charities to meet

How is it different from..
Donating individually
Give more: You get to give 15, 30, 100x more depending on the number of partners in the giving circle

Donating to a Foundation
It’s participatory: We, the donors, get to be involved in the grant process and select which charities to fund, not a Board of Directors we don't get to engage with.
Influence: You get to influence the collective giving agenda and help choose where the funds go.
It’s democratised: We challenge the conventional view that strategic philanthropy should be reserved for retirement, high-net-worth individuals by leveraging strength in numbers. By giving together, we get to give more and give more effectively.

Who are we?
Rally was started in 2019 by young women who wanted to bring everyday donors together to fund impactful non-profits fighting for female empowerment.
We believe in the power of collective giving with impact-minded individuals to create change and are here to help you shift from feel-good philanthropy to do-good philanthropy.
Rally Foundation is a Hong Kong-based non-profit organisation in the process of applying for section 88 status.

You can also fundraise within your own network to meet the pledge requirement. For example, you can organize a dinner party with your closest friends to share more about Rally’s mission and work, and get everyone to donate!
